Why Patch?A Letter from our founder
Founder & CEO of Patch
Hey everyone — I’m Jeremy. CEO here at Patch. In my past life, I was a lot like you. I owned a cash-based Physical Therapy clinic called Ripple Physical Therapy. I started it in 2021, and in three years grew it to 6 providers and 7 figures. I was happy with how it went.
Chances are if you’re reading these, you own a clinic too. And because you need more new patients. Marketing for Physical Therapy clinics is tricky. Luckily, it’s what I love to do.
6 months into opening Ripple, I hired a staff PT. I had NO idea how to fill their schedule, but it was time. The stress of having to train a new employee, continue fulfilling to pay the bills, AND figure out how to get new patients in the door was tough. I’m sure you can resonate.
I hired a marketing company to help fill my new PTs case load. What a mistake. Quickly I realized that they had no idea how to message to my demographic. Our inquires were looking for Aquatic Physical Therapy. Nearest BCBS provider. Or Medicare PT. They thought they were crushing it. So many conversions!! they told me. But — they had no idea who my target market was.
This is why marketing gets a bad rap. And, what lead me to learn how to market for myself and an eventual obsession with marketing.
I left patient care and taught myself everything from ads, to what the hell a CRM is, to email marketing. It became an obsession. Still is. And Ripple exploded because of it. We went from 2 providers to 6 in under a year.
As a clinic owner, you shouldn’t have to worry about marketing. You have bigger fish to fry. Keeping employees happy. Being a leader. Making local relationships. Trust me, you can’t do it all. And that is why Patch was born.
Patch is the marketing arm of your business. You’re not big enough to hire a full-time employee, but you get all that and more with Patch. We’ll generate new patients via ads, organize your leads in a custom built CRM, create quarterly marketing campaigns, and MUCH more.
The last year of owning Ripple, I went into the office once a month. Max. I ended up moving to a different state, removed myself from the stuff I didn’t want to do, and the clinic thrived. I want that for you, too. It might seem impossible — but if I was able to do it, you can. The Patch system makes time and location freedom possible.
Those days of you wanting to throw your computer out the window trying to learn how to market? Worrying about how you’re going to feed a new staff PT leads, while keeping your self busy? Wondering if you’ll ever get out of the hamster wheel of having to continue patient care to pay the bills? They’re over. Patch is your answer.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Frequently asked questions
Patch makes it easier for your clinics to get new patients in the door. We do this in 3 ways. The first thing we do is build out your back-end sales and marketing systems. We utilize technology to help organize your leads, send out the right message to your potential patients based on where they’re in the customer journey, and help you follow up with lost leads. The second, and probably most important thing we do is teach you how to utilize the software. It’s one thing to have a badass system. It's a whole other thing to know how to use it.
Technology is scary. We make it easy to use with 1-on-1 onboarding calls, a private Slack channel, and all the training videos. The last thing we do is done for you marketing. We run your Google Ads. Create quarterly email marketing campaigns. Reach out to lost patients. Get your new Staff PT to 25+ sessions in under 2 months. Build landing pages and follow-up email sequences for your local marketing events. You name it, we do it.
There are 5 tasks you need to do on day 1. These are important. From there, you’ll have a weekly 1-on-1 30-minute onboarding call (that you schedule during your free time) where we teach you exactly what you need to be doing. From there, you get weekly onboarding where we build off what you learned each week. That 30-minute call, plus 5 to 10 minutes per day (every day) is what’s expected from you.
100%. Well, usually what we tell people is that we’ll write 95% of the emails, but we want you to go in and put your brand and voice spin on them. The hardest part of creating emails is just getting started. We do all the heavy lifting, you just finish the project.
Whats the typical Google Ads spend you suggest when getting started? 500$/mo is what we typically recommend. If you’re not willing to invest anything more than that, your money might be best spend elsewhere. Google needs a certain amount of money each month to properly learn and understand what you’re trying to convert for. 500$ to start seems to be the sweet spot.
If you complete all your onboarding tasks, we can get the system built within the first month. The key is your onboarding. If you’re committed to the 1-on-1 calls and put in your 5-10 minutes of work a day, your system will be ready to go by the end of month 1.
It’s your account! Whatever we build, you keep. Nothing is our IP. Utilize us to help build the systems. If you feel comfortable enough to run with it, we’re just as pumped as you are to see you do it!
